1 Overview: Applicable Product Types & Assembly Technology of Switchgear Production Line
1.1 Applicable Product Types
This switchgear production line and switchgear assembly line are used for mass assembly of high and low voltage switchgear. It is compatible with KYN28, GGD, HXGN and other switchgear cabinets, supports mixed production of multiple models for complete power distribution equipment manufacturing.
Applicable products: High voltage switchgear: KYN28 metal-clad switchgear, HXGN ring main unit; Low voltage switchgear: GGD, GCS, MNS distribution cabinets; Matching cabinets: box transformer enclosures, electrical control cabinets.
1.2 Assembly Technology of Switchgear Assembly Line
This switchgear assembly line adopts heavy-duty roller traveling station assembly technology with modular and segmented layout. Using heavy roller conveyor system as the carrier, matched with tooling pallets, switchgear cabinets are automatically conveyed and positioned between stations. It solves the problems of low efficiency and difficult handling of heavy cabinets in single-station assembly.
The whole switchgear production line can be equipped with lifting equipment for hoisting and alignment assembly of cabinets, copper busbars and switch components. Each workstation is equipped with positioning jigs to guarantee consistent precision of cabinet dimension, mounting holes and busbar assembly.
The production line integrates roller conveying, tooling positioning, step-by-step inspection, full product testing and finished product unloading. Processes include cabinet pre-assembly, frame reinforcement, busbar assembly, component mounting, secondary wiring, insulation test, power-on commissioning and finished product discharging. It realizes continuous mass production on the switchgear assembly line, improves production tact and pass rate, and meets mass production requirements of high & low voltage switchgear.
2 Core Assembly Process of Switchgear Assembly Line
Loading Station: Place switchgear cabinet on heavy roller tooling pallet. The tooling completes positioning, and the workpiece is sent into the switchgear production line.
Cabinet Pre-assembly Station: Cabinet calibration, pre-assembly of base, brackets and door panels.
Busbar Assembly Station: Hoist and fix copper busbars, fit insulating parts.
Component Assembly Station: Install and fix circuit breakers, transformers, meters and other components.
Secondary Wiring Station: Arrange, connect and mark secondary control cables.
Commissioning Station: Insulation test, circuit verification and power-on commissioning.
Full Inspection Station: Carry out performance test and visual inspection. Repair non-conforming products on site.
Finished Product Offline Station: Unload qualified switchgear for warehousing. Empty pallets return to the starting station of the switchgear assembly line along the roller line for cyclic production.
3 Customizable Parameters of Switchgear Production Line
Applicable Product Size & Load Parameters: Customized according to customer switchgear models, compatible with high and low voltage cabinets. Load capacity of tooling pallets can be customized for heavy cabinets.
Assembly Line Layout & Station Parameters: The number of workstations on the switchgear assembly line is optional, including 4-station, 6-station, 8-station options. Line length and routing can be adjusted according to workshop space.
Tooling Configuration: Quick-change positioning jigs on pallets for different cabinet sizes.
Heavy Roller Conveyor Operating Parameters: Speed of roller conveyor is adjustable. Workpiece accumulation buffer can be added. The control system supports two modes: manual commissioning and automatic operation.
Optional Expansion Items: The switchgear production line can be equipped with code scanning traceability, torque monitoring, power-on test bench, safety fence and workstation display screen.
